Faces of Ty

On Sunday we took some pictures of Tyler. Kate wanted to take pictures. She is a Wilbur after all.

I think Ty looks like a chubby old white man in this picture.






I think he actually enjoys drooling, but in any case he is getting pretty skilled at it.


Disclaimer: Jen thought that I was taking a picture but I did a video instead. She was moving him to get him to smile big for the camera and I was too close to keep him in the shot. He loves this though. He is a smily boy in general though.

Future Friends

Katelynn loves her brother. Sometimes a little too much. Tyler chews on anything that he gets his hands on now, including his thumb.


Or his bottom lip.

Sick kids

Ok I know it has been a while again between posts but I have another excuse. Kate and Ty both came down with RSV. The week before he had been to the doctor and had an earache and Kate probably got RSV first then gave it to Ty. So we had a couple of sick kids. We all started to get a little cabin fever so instead of church last weekend (doctor's orders were to stay away) and went down to Provo. We couldn't see Alyssa and Ben because of Bella and fear of her catching it (for good reason) but we could see Dan. So we mostly hung out with Dan. Casi made dinner for Dan's apartment and her own (and other misc. people) so we went over there for dinner too. Kate had a blast being the center of attention. She couldn't get enough of it. Anyway we have been a little busy taking care of sick kids.


Kate got some new PJs from Jen's aunt Joan. I just loved the faces she made.

One day Kate asked Grandma for two suckers. Well the rule of grandparents is to spoil so who do you think got two suckers?







She was very pleased. And not to leave Ty out, here he is too.

Hmm, Kate has been quiet for a while.

So while we were in California one evening, Jen said to her mom that she had not heard Kate for a while and she was going to check on her. When you have a child, silence is only golden when they are deep asleep. Otherwise this happens.



Kate found Jen's lipstick and decided she needed some sprucing up.

And yes, Jen got the lipstick out of the shirt.

Tyler's Baby Blessing

We waited to bless Tyler until all the family would be together for the holidays. Our plan just barely worked. Josh and Hayley came in on the 26th and Mike and Jen left on the 28th so the 27th was the big day by default. Tyler was great throughout the blessing and smiled a few times, something he does often now. He was startled at the "amen" at the end though. Here was everyone in the circle. Tyler wore the same blessing clothes that I wore when I was blessed.

After everyone got a picture with the special boy we set him down and took pictures of him by himself. 


 I was so happy to get this picture. I think he looks so cute.
