Kate's Fashion

Kate suddenly wanted to wear underwear over her diapers. That's a step in the right direction, right? Well she put these boots on too. I couldn't pass up on these pictures.

We only have clips for Kate's hair and she told her Grandma that she wanted a clip "here" over and over again. Here is the result. And yes she is smiling.

Here I told Kate to laugh because every smile made her look angry. Here she is laughing.

These pictures were taken by Kate. She wanted to take pictures of her babies.

Pictures of Tyler (and his family)

I know you all want pictures of Tyler. I mixed in some of the rest of us as well.

We tried to get a little family one but Kate didn't want to sit still and Tyler was grumpy.

I love  this picture. I think Kate looks so cute.

This is the best family shot we have so far.

Look at how Tyler is sleeping with his hands.

Finding Fingers

Kate is a finger sucker. I caught Tyler finding his fingers. We will see what he chooses one day.

The way he looks here reminds me of how Kate sucked her fingers when she was little.

Mommy Kate

Can you tell what Kate is doing?

Any guesses?

If you guessed feeding her baby, you are the winner and should feel proud. Well, not too proud given the post title.

Kate may hate me one day for posting this picture but I think it was so cute.

Tyler's Birthday

So last Sunday, the day after we came home from the hospital, Dan, Casi, Wes, and Trenton wanted to come up and see Tyler. Diane made a cake and we decided to sing "Happy Birthday" to Tyler and have Kate blow the candles out. Kate loved it and we had to do it 5-6 times.

There's the birthday boy.

Everyone wanted a picture with the baby.

Casi and Dan with Tyler.

Look at the proud Grandma and sister.

I think this picture is so funny. It is sometimes hard to watch a newborn because they want to badly to move but can't yet.

Kate can't give enough kisses and hugs to Tyler.

We gave Tyler his first bath. He wasn't to happy but we had no fountains. Kate wanted to help a lot.

Bringing Tyler Home

As we prepared to come home from the hospital, we took a bunch of pictures. Jen was holding Tyler and he was so cute.

We dressed him in his first outfit.

Look at that great and proud mom.

Admire the outfit and blanket.

When Tyler cried, Kate got very concerned and tried to help calm him down.

He wasn't happy going in his car seat.

Here is the new family going home.

It is such a scary thing that they just let you go with this little delicate child. I know we are on number two but it feels like the first. I mean it was two years ago and our routine has changed SO much over the last couple years, and they are completely different children. It is like having your first with another kid running around.

The new siblings.

Here we go.
