I was comparing in my mind the two births we have had into are family so far and I started thinking about Kate's birth. I remembered that when Kate was being bathed or poked (or anytime she was bothered from her rest) she would scream, turn bright red, and tighten up every muscle. She still tightens up her whole body when she is angry (although she has been getting better at controlling herself lately).
It is interesting to me that a personality trait was visible so early in life. Literally, the first moments of life for Katelynn and we could see them. We didn't know which actions were Kate and which were common to baby-dom at the time but looking back you can see it.
Also, Kate cried a little the first couple weeks and we thought it was colic, but we figured out that if we set her down she would stop crying. She liked to be held sometimes and left alone others. She still has her moods. She has her times when she wants to cuddle and play and hug while others she doesn't want to be touched and just wants to be left alone.
It makes me wonder what traits are we observing in Tyler that are a part of Tyler alone that we will notice more as he becomes more active. I hope it isn't the high pitched scream.
