Disneyland!!

Nathan's week off and the last day before our Disneyland passes blacked out came at the same time so we decided to bring daddy along for two crazy days at Disneyland.

I love this pict of Ty!

He has pretty much grown out of his cheesy smile but every once in a while he reverts to it.

Here was the best family shot we got.

Kate has this horrible strained face in these two pictures. She really was having fun- she loves driving the cars!

Probably the best part of the day was when our table for lunch was right next to the exit of the Rapunzel photo opt. Katelynn couldn't take her eyes off the room!

Here you can see Flynn Ryder!

We ventured on the new Ariel ride. It was an hour long- yikes! To pass the time we got the kids cotton candy. The picture doesn't do it justice but they turned all blue! It really help the time pass.

Kate loved the parade!

On our way out we attempted to get the traditional Disneyland picture but the kids wouldn't even get out of the stroller. We'd been there all day! The longest day ever since we have had passes. It was a blast. It was nice to finally share in the fun at Disneyland with Nathan.

She's 5!!!

Well, I figured it appropriate to start back to our blog exactly one year later. Our pictures had been stuck on a hard drive and i don't blog without picts, but thanks to my wonderful husband- they are now safe!!

Katelynn had a wonderful 5th birthday weekend!! She has been telling me now she is so ready for summer to start but even more ready for kindergarten to start. I'm happy I have summer with her before she start kindergarten!

We had a Tangled birthday party with friends this year! My mom had a wonderful idea to make hair for the kids out of yarn. It took her many hours of works but it made the party- thanks mom! We made a tower of doughnuts for Rapunzel's tower.

The kids went on a scavenger hunt to find the lights like Rapunzel- they found the cake there too!

We had the kids pin the frying pan on Flynn!!

Here are all the kids with their beautiful hair!

Katelynn's actual birthday was a few days after the party! The great thing was there was no school or work for the kids and dads. We went to the beach and it was a beautiful day. The kids had a blast. First thing in the morning she opened one present.

We gave her a razor. She LOVES it so much. She rides is every day for almost 30 min! She was riding right in the morning trying to balance and get both feet on the razor. Once she did she told my dad "now my life has begun!" She is very inspired by movies! If you ask her what she got for her birthday though she tells you a pillow pet. Her cousins gave her a pillow pet and sine she has been wanting one for a long time I guess it comes to mind first. It is so nice to see presents getting used so well!

I knew we'd have no time to make another cake for her real birthday so I made lots to last for both parties.

She's FOUR!!

It's a little late but we've gotta let you all know- Katelynn had her birthday. She was so excited for the big day. It was on a Sunday so we enjoyed pancakes in the morning and got ready for church after all the naps and everyone was out of church we had a big family party.

She opened a dress before church and was so super excited. She is such a girly girl. She is pretty much always in a skirt or a dress and changes multiple times a day. (We're working on that one.)

This is Kate's pose ready to open her presents.

She was so excited when she saw this doll she got. It was cute.

Nathan said Ty was thinking pretty hard about the ball they were playing with.

We gave Kate a bike for her birthday. We can't wait to spend summer days riding around.

When I was asking Katelynn what kind of cake she wanted all she would say was a yellow cake. So I got online and helped her get a little more creative. We made cute little (big) ballet shoes. We needed a lot of cake. She talks about taking ballet classes all the time and finally gets to this summer!

She had the hardest time blowing out her candles. I think she was too far away from them. We all helped her blow them out in the end. You can see the piggy bank on the table. This was the one present she was asking for for months! She keeps thanking me for remembering to get her a piggy bank for a few weeks after.

We can't believe Kate is four. She is growing so fast and so big. It will be exciting to see what this next year brings!!
