First Grade!

Isn't she adorable! Kate started first grade. Since we moved she is at a new school and a little scared about that. She is doing great and making friends fast! You can barely see but she even lost her two bottom teeth before school started!

Here she is with her teacher, Mrs. McDowell. We've heard only wonderful things about her. So here's to a great school year!

Tyler is 4!

Tyler had a wonderful birthday! I cannot believe he is already 4!  If you ask him his name he will tell you it is Ty Ty. If you try to spell out his whole name he gets very upset because his name only has a "t and a y". Ty is still a sensitive little boy, but with a tough boy side now too.

We went to Zoomars for his birthday. He was s excited when we found this big map!

Couldn't resist this funny pict!

Tyler has always been very cautious. So he never rides the horses only the train. But the loves it!

He was so happy when he got his birthday sundae at Ruby's.

I am a wonderful mother and let my children decorate their cakes- they love it. Ty even got so creative to make treasure in his cake and he pushed the candy deep into the cake! WOW!

My grandpa's birthday is a few days after Ty's so when we all stopped by to say hi to him. We are only missing sleepy Caroline in this pict. My parents now have 9 grandkids! 3 under 1! So fun!

These with Graham and my grandma are so cute!!

Ty's New Trick!

He can wear pants!!

Ever since we started church at 9 for the new year Ty hated getting dressed for church. For about a month or 2 we fought and put church pants and a button up shirt on him. Then we decided to let him wear tan shorts- with no buttons of course- and this polo shirt. This week he started to wear shorts with buttons on his own. On Friday he had Father's and Sons and had to wear pants. This was the first time he wore pants on his own since 2011! So for church this morning Nathan asked if he wanted to wear pants to. Look- he even has a smile doing it! Now we just have to see if we can convince him to wear a new shirt. He is getting too big for the one he wears to church EVERY week. Baby steps.
