For you poor souls pt4

Extensions -- an extension is kinda like a plug-in. The difference is,
from what I have seen, is that a plug-in is a program that tells the
browser how to use another external program. An extension is a third
party software made by some random joe (this can be done primarily
because of the open source nature of Firefox) out in the world that is
internal in the browser and is used only by the browser. Now if you are
worried about malicious software out there, Firefox has a website that has a bunch of extensions that have some pretty reputable programs. I
know of a few that I like:

-- StumbleUpon is a great little web surfer. You tell it the categories you like or are interested in and you hit "Stumble" and it takes you to a random site that has been tagged by someone who also liked the same subject. You can then tell it whether you like the page or not. If you tell it your likes or dislikes, it figures out what you like based on what other people who liked the same pages liked. Not an exact science but you can find some cool pages you would have never seen otherwise.

-- Fasterfox is good, if it doesn't help you pages load any faster (which it says it does) it does show you how long the current page took to load.

-- AdBlocker is kinda self explanatory, it blocks ad's (which Firefox already blocks pretty good, which is another benefit). It also blocks ad banners on the page and re-displays the page nicely. It helps pages to display nicely, especially those pages covered in ads. It also speeds up loading because it doesn't need to load all those pesky ads. You have to manually block the ads but if you get Adblock Filterset.G Updater. It is a filter that gets most of those ads out there. It isn't perfect but it is a whole lot better then not having it.

-- Web Developer Tools is great for anybody who is in any way interested in html, css, or any kind of web development/coding. It can help you break apart the different elements of any page and see the elements properties. Also, you can clear your cache at click of a button.
