We were so excited to see what she was going to do. We just went around my grandpa's complex. Lots of Elderly people.
She was very scared, she is about to bolt in this picture. Jen had to carry her so we could get the candy.
Look at that scared face.
Jen had to hold her at every door. Jen had got Katelynn to say a little "Trick-or-Treat" earlier in the day and all she would say was "bye-bye."
Katelynn may have been terrified all night, but Jen had a good time.
Katelynn would ring the doorbell though.
The last door we were able to get Katelynn to be happy and get candy out of the basket.
It was my grandpa, though. Well, we tried.
We had a fun time. We only went to a few doors, but that was about all that Katelynn could handle.
Thats so cute! It was so fun watching Weston trick or treat this year. I had been teaching him to say trick or treat and he only sort of got it the night of, but ever since then he says it to me all the time and asks for candy then says "halloween over". Such a fun age!!!
ReplyDeleteYou never know what a kid will do! It's actually probably a good thing that she is afraid of knocking on strangers doors and getting treats from them...she probably should be!
ReplyDeleteWhat cute little princess!
